Dr Supriya Malik

Founder & Psychologist

Supriya received her Ph.D. in Psychology from University of Birmingham, U.K. For the last 14 years she has worked with a range of developmental and mental health disorders in Delhi and the UK, setting up early intervention programmes as well as leading diagnostic services.


Supriya is passionate about working with children, adolescents and young adults, improving quality of therapeutic services and building capacity. She has trained in various evidence-based programmes and is an expert in carrying out diagnostic and multidisciplinary assessments.


Supriya is a board member of the Indo-Canadian Autism Network (I-CAN). eMbrace is also recognised as a center of excellence for autism through I-CAN. Supriya has been awarded the Business World 40 under 40 award for her contribution to Healthcare in India.


Dr Sara Tookey

Clinical Director

Sara is a fully chartered and registered Clinical and Research Psychologist with full memberships to BPS, HCPC and the ACP in the UK. She holds a PhD in Psychology from the University of Birmingham, UK, a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from University College London, and an MA in Existential Phenomenological Psychology from the University of Seattle, USA.


She is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and has experience of working as a lecturer, researcher and supervisor in Higher Education. Sara has worked in mental health for the last 17 years, and has a broad experience base, working for the National Health Service, UK as well as voluntary and private sectors in the UK, and USA. Her clinical interests and specialisms include Chronic Illness, Psycho-oncology and Palliative Care, Depression, Anxiety disorders, as well as LGBTQ++ and relationship issues.


Sara is an experienced psychotherapist and specialises in integrative therapies, incorporating approaches of CBT, ACT, CFT, Existential therapy, Systemic approaches, and psycho-dynamically informed therapy.

Vibha Rungta

Clinical Psychologist

Vibha is a licensed Clinical Psychologist specialising in both therapy and clinical assessments. She completed her M.Phil in Clinical Psychology (RCI recognized) from Amity University in 2017.


Vibha is skilled at conducting cognitive and psychological assessments including diagnostic assessments for ADHD, Learning Disorders and mental health disorders.


She has extensive experience working with teenagers, young adults and adults in both assessment, diagnostic and therapeutic set ups. During the course of her educational and career journey, she has presented several research papers and partaken in various workshops.


She has served as a Psychologist at various centres around North India. Her specialisms include LGBTQIA+ issues, Borderline Personality Disorder, OCD, Anxiety Disorder, ADHD and Behavioural Disorders. She is equipped with different therapy modalities and trained in online therapy. Her commitment towards the LGBTQIA+ community earned her the “Queer-Friendly Psychologist” award from the Awadh Queer Pride Committee in 2019.

Palkee Baruah

Janvi Parekh

Clinical Psychologist

In over 4 enriching working years in the mental health field, Janvi has honed expertise in diagnostic assessments and psychotherapy, touching the lives of 400+ individuals through personalized care and intervention strategies. She has been extensively trained in Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), a practice of therapy focused on helping people deal with irrational beliefs and managing emotions, thoughts, and behaviours in a healthier, more realistic way.

She holds a queer affirmative counselling practice extending advocacy and assistance to people from the LGBTQIA+ community. Anupriya Kapoor

Clinical Psychologist

Anupriya is an RCI licensed Clinical Psychologist with 12+ years of experience in assessing and treating individuals with various emotional, mental and behavioural disorders. She has been successful at accurate diagnoses and working closely with high-risk patients. Has extensive experience providing crisis intervention, psychological evaluations and psychotherapy services to children, adolescents and adults. Expertise in suicide prevention, self-harm, sexual assault and other trauma-related disorders. Over the past few years, she has also been involved extensively in creating school policies on bullying, child protection, and sex education curriculum across many schools in Delhi/NCR.

An experienced instructor, with certifications in child protection and safeguarding from the Council of International Schools (CIS), who has conducted over 50 training sessions in diverse schools (CBSE/IB) across multiple states. Dr. Madhur Rathee

Consultant Psychiatrist

Dr. Madhur has treated and helped more than 5000 patients through his psychiatric experience over the last 5 years. He has touched and impacted lives locally and globally. Dr. Madhur is known for his empathetic and patient- centred approach, actively listening to patients' concerns and tailoring treatment plans to their unique needs. He is also experienced in utilizing a wide range of therapeutic modalities, including psychotherapy, medication management, and other evidence-based treatments, to help individuals overcome their mental health challenges.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Madhur is actively involved in research and education within the field of psychiatry, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in areas of Mood disorders and substance use disorders. Dr Simona Chereji

Simona is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist who has clinically worked for more than 15 years in public and private settings, both in the UK and overseas. She has extensive training and working experience in various therapeutic models, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Rational-Emotive and Behavioural Therapy (REBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Schema Therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing).


She regularly updates herself with the latest outcomes in clinical research relating to different psychological disorders and the effectiveness of intervention models.


She has experience in working with a wide variety of mental health disorders on a spectrum of complexity. Tanmay Kapahi

Tanmay is a Developmental Psychologist, with a Masters in Developmental Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University. She has worked with children as well as adolescents with various neurodevelopmental concerns, over a span of 4 years.


She holds an Advanced Diploma in Neurodevelopmental Play Therapy, under the guidance of Dr. Sue Jennings (UK). Urvashi Sharma

Aayushi, a licensed occupational therapist at Embrace Lives, holds a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (Neurology) from CCU University and a Bachelor’s degree from Delhi University. With over seven years of clinical experience, she specializes in working with children aged 2 to 16, as well as young adults with various neurodevelopmental disorders and cognitive disabilities.

Aayushi's approach involves using play to connect with children, encouraging participation in meaningful activities, and fostering peer relationships. She is certified in Handwriting Without Tears and Jolly Phonics Grammar, and holds a sensory integration classroom certification from TIITL.

Pooja Singh

Occupational Therapist (OT)

Pooja is a registered occupational therapist. She has received her bachelor's degree in therapy from Delhi University. She has worked in pediatrics with a wide variety of diagnoses including Developmental Delay, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Autism, and Sensory Processing Disorder in outpatient pediatrics schools, and early intervention programs. She has a passion for helping kids and families be able to participate in everyday activities, especially in sensory processing and fine - motor skills. She believes that by shaping foundational brain networks, we can improve social and emotional well-being as well as gain skills needed for everyday life. She has a strong belief that people learn best through meaningful activities that are fun and motivating.
